Fred Wiehe is not only a Novelist, a Short Story Writer, and an Author of a nonfiction, how-to book on writing fiction, he is also a Screenwriter:

Fright House is an original screenplay: Story by Fred Wiehe and Dave Reda of Elftwin Films. Written by Fred Wiehe. Kaki Entertainment in LA recently optioned the rights to produce this feature film (possibly in 3D!). Fred and Dave are both very happy to be working with Kathy Sittloh and Ryon C. Patterson of Kaki Entertainment. More information to come!

As side note, be on the lookout for a new short film from Dave Reda and Elftwin Films entitled Horror of Our Love. It's been getting great reviews and will hopefully be released soon. (By the way, Fred's seen it and thinks, "It's Kick Ass, Awesome!"). In the meanwhile, check out the feature length film Bit Parts, directed by Dave Reda and produced by Elftwin Films. It's available on DVD!

The Uglies is Fred's new screenplay that he's currently working on. This script is based on his short story The Uglies, which is featured in his book Holiday Madness: 13 Dark Tales for Halloween, Christmas, and All Occasions. Buy the book and read the short story before it becomes a movie.
